 नुकताच एक लेख वाचनात आला. जंगलातल्या खर्या राहणी बद्दल-  ✨ या दोघी           आणि जंगल...     ❄️ या दोघी .एकीच वय ६० दुसरीचं ८०. दाजिपूरच्या जंगलाला लागून ठकूचा धनगरवाडा आहे. तेथे फक्त त्यांचे पिढ्यान पिढ्याचे एकच घर आहे. तिन्ही बाजुला दाट जंगल. यांच्या घरात आजही लाईट नाही. रस्ता नाही. ठकूचा धनगरवाडा म्हणजे कै.ठकू धनगराचे घर. त्याची चौथी पाचवी पिढी आजही तेथे रहाते या पिढीतील ठकू धनगराची नातसुन लक्ष्मी वय ६०. व ठकुची मुलगी सोना वय ८0 व एक खापर पणतू याक्षणी येथे रहातो. आजुबाजुला वस्ती नाही. गवे बिबट्या अस्वलाचा यांच्या घराजवळ सतत वावर. त्यामुळे दिवस मावळला की घराचे दरवाजे बंद . सोबतीला फक्त दोन गावठी कुत्री. घरात रॉकेल किंवा डिझेलची चिमणी . ती विझवली की रात्रभर सभोवती फक्त काळोख आणि जंगलातून वाट काढत घुसणाऱ्या वाऱ्याचा घुमणारा आवाज. रात्री कुत्री भेदरून, आकसून कुई कुई करू लागली की या दोघींनी ओळखायच . बाहेर काय तरी आलय. आणि उठायच्या भानगडीत न पडता पुन्हा मुरगटुन झोपायच. पावसाळ्यात तर तीन महिने घराबाहेर पडायच नाही. लाकुड पेटवुन धुनी करायची आणि त्याच्या उबीला बसायच. लक्ष्मी व सोना साठ

इंटरनेट वरुन साभार.. तावडे हॉटेल पुरात हॉटेल बुडाले हे हॉटेल शंकर कदम ऊर्फ तावडे यांच्यानंतर त्यांची मुले केरबा, पांडुरंग, बाबासाहेब, निवृत्ती आणि मुलगी हौसाबाई यांनी चालविले. 1989 मध्ये पंचगंगेला महापूर आला आणि त्यात निम्मे हॉटेल बुडाले. त्यानंतर शिरोली नाका ते गांधीनगर फाटा रस्ता चौपदरी झाला आणि त्या रस्त्याखालीच तावडे हॉटेलच्या खोपटाचा शेवट झाला. वीस वर्षे झाली, तावडे हॉटेलचे तेथे कसलेही अस्तित्व नाही, पण तावडे हॉटेलच्या आठवणी जाग्या आहेत. त्यामुळेच तावडे हॉटेल नसले तरी त्याची ओळख मात्र राहिली आहे.  कोल्हापूर - कोल्हापुरात येण्यासाठी मुंबईपासून कन्याकुमारी पर्यंतच्या महामार्गावर कोणत्याही ट्रकमध्ये बसायचं, ट्रक ड्रायव्हर कन्नड, तमिळी, मल्याळी बोलणारा असू दे, त्याचा एक शब्दही तुम्हाला नाही कळू दे, कोल्हापुरात उतरायचं असेल तर कोल्हापूर नव्हे, फक्त #तावडे_हॉटेल असे म्हणायचे. तो ट्रक बरोबर कोल्हापूरच्या फाट्यावर येऊन थांबणार, म्हणजेच आपण "तावडे हॉटेल‘ केवळ हा एका शब्दाचा पत्ता सांगून कोल्हापुरात येऊन पोचणार.  तावडे हॉटेल आणि कोल्हापूरचं नातं असं एक नव्हे, दोन नव्हे, 75 ते 77 वर्षे

  SVB Crisis: What led to fall of Silicon Valley Bank? On Friday, the banking regulators in the US shut down the "financial partner of the innovation economy", as the  Silicon Valley  Bank (SVB) called itself after it suffered a swift collapse. It has sent shock waves across the tech and banking industries. Undoubtedly, the bank catered to a very specific crowd of start-ups, venture capitalists (VCs) and tech firms, but before its collapse, SVB was the 16th biggest bank in the US. Moreover, it is the second bank, after Silvergate, that collapsed last week. It was followed by the US banking regulators shutting down the Signature Bank on Sunday, the third bank to close its doors in a week. Interestingly, it is the second-largest bank failure in the history of the US and the first such incident after the 2008 depression. बेंगलोरमधील शहराच्या मध्यवर्ती ठिकाणी - मल्लेश्वरम - येथील हे प्राचीन मंदिर. या मंदिरात नंदीचे मुख हे दक्षिण दिशेला असल्याने दक्षिणमुखी नंदी तीर्थ असे नाव देण्यात आले.       या मंदिराचा इतिहास हा रोमांचकारी आहे. शहराच्या मध्यवर्ती भागात हे मंदिर जीथे आहे तो प्लाॅट १९९७ पर्यंत खाली होता. जमीनीवर काही झुडपे वाढली होती. १९९७ साली काही बांधकाम करण्याच्या उद्देशाने साफसफाई करत असताना प्रथम नंदीची शिंगे दृष्टीस पडली. त्यानंतर हळूहळू बाजूने खोदले असता पूर्ण नंदीची मूर्ती मिळाली. या नंदीच्या मूर्तीची साफसफाई करताना एक अद्भुत गोष्ट घडली. नंदीच्या अंगावरील सर्व माती साफ केली आणि तोंडात जमलेली माती काढली असता नंदीच्या तोंडातून पाण्याची धार वाहू लागली. हा चमत्कार पाहून लोकांनी पुरातत्व खात्याला कळविले.       पुरातत्व विभागातील तज्ञांनी भेट देऊन हळूवारपणे उत्खननास सुरुवात केली. नंदीच्या मुखातून सतत पाणी येतच होते. ज्यावेळी पूर्ण उत्खनन झाले त्यावेळी हे मंदिर उजेडात आले. या मंदिराची रचना ही पूर्णपणे वेगळी आहे. नंदी वरती असून शंकराची पिंड खाली आहे. नंदीच्या मुखातून जे पाणी जमिनीवर पडते तीथे एक छिद्र

केवळ चाळीस मिनिटांसाठी होते रात्र दररोज पृथ्वीवर सूर्याचा पहिला आणि अखेरचा किरण जवळपास निश्चित वेळेत पोहोचत असतो. पूर्वेकडील देश जसे भारत आणि पश्चिमेकडील देश जसे अमेरिका यांच्या प्रमाण वेळेत बरेच अंतर आहे. पृथ्वीवर काही ठिकाणी दिवस मोठा असतो तर काही ठिकाणी रात्र संपण्याची नावच घेत नाही. असंच युरोप खंडातील एका देशात रात्र केवळ 40 मिनिटांची असते. मध्यरात्री सूर्यास्त होतो आणि काही वेळातच पुन्हा पहाट होते नॉर्वे मध्ये रात्री १२:४३ वाजण्याच्या सुमारास सूर्यास्त होतो आणि 40 मिनिटांनी म्हणजे १:३० वाजता पुन्हा सूर्योदय होतो, परंतु हा प्रकार पूर्ण वर्ष चालत नाही वर्षातील फक्त मे ते जुलै या कालावधीत हा प्रकार घडतो.
